All Are Welcome

Sunday Worship

  • 8:00 am — Holy Eucharist Rite I (Quiet Service)

  • 10:00 am — Holy Eucharist Rite II (Family Service with Music)

A young person holds the gospel while Fr. Joshua reads from it during the service.

In our worship service, we celebrate God with us. Jesus shared bread and wine with his first followers and is with us today in this family meal we call Holy Communion. Through it we receive the forgiveness of our sins and a strengthening of our union with God and with one another as we remember Christ’s life, death and resurrection.

Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on your journey of faith, you are welcome at St. Michael’s. All who seek God and are drawn to Christ are welcome at God’s table. If you do not wish to receive the wine, stay at the Communion rail and cross your arms over your chest and the chalice bearer will pause so you may participate prayerfully without sipping the wine. To receive a blessing only, cross your arms over your chest for a special blessing from the priest.
